Following GE’s November 2021 announcement to split into three companies, Interbrand led a global insights and analytics program to evaluate branding options for its aviation business. The new GE Aerospace identity is built in the spirit of bold exploration, grounded in the confidence of an enduring industry leader. It signals an evolution and communicates GE Aerospace’s refocused vision to invent the future of flight for generations to come. The GE Monogram remains as an iconic signature, anchoring the brand in its legacy of safety, quality, and reliability. The new condensed, custom wordmark reflects technical precision and streamlined global navigation, while the signature brand color deepens the heritage GE blue with power and purpose, inspired by the upper atmosphere.

To accompany the launch of the GE Aerospace identity, we created Elevate, a brand book to mark this historic spinoff from GE and inspire brand ambassadors across the newly independent company.

The new identity won several Transform Awards.
