Brand Identity for Cast Black Talent. Cast Black Talent is a collective of black actors, founded by Courntey Peck, who is looking to empower and network across with leading industry professionals to help amplify the voices that have been silenced for too long.
The logo and type treatment are inspired by the shape of a megaphone, a film camera and a spot light, all of which are symbolising Cast Black Talent's mission of raising BIPOC's presence in entertainment. The color platte is inspired by old Hollywood technicolor films, celebrated for its saturated levels. As part of the Black Lives Matter Movement, this colorful and playful identity wants to be heard and seen.
